 WHAT IS CYBERBULLYING?


Bullying that occurs over digital devices such as cell phones, laptops, and tablets is known as cyberbullying. Cyberbullying can take place offline in social media, forums, or online in social media, forums, or gaming where people may see, participate in, or share material. Sending, uploading, or sharing negative, harmful, inaccurate, or abusive content about someone else is considered cyberbullying. It can involve embarrassment or humiliation caused by sharing personal or private data about another individual. Cyberbullying can sometimes cross the line into illegal or criminal action.

The following are the most common places where cyberbullying occurs:


  • Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Youtube are examples of social media platforms.
  • On mobile or tablet devices, text messaging and messaging apps are available.
  • Instant messaging, direct messaging, and online chatting are all methods of communicating over the internet.
  • Sending an email


HOW TO DEAL WITH THE PERSON DOING CYBERBULLYING:
  1. Cyberbullying messages should not be responded to or forwarded.
  2. Keep track of any instances of cyberbullying. Keep track of the dates, hours, and details of any incidences of cyberbullying. Screenshots, emails, and text messages may all be saved and printed.
  3.  Report cyberbullying to web and cell phone service providers using this proof.
  4. The person who is cyberbullying you should be blocked.
  5. Report the Cybercrime department immediately or if you can't do that at least tell your parents or brother, sister, or close friend about the problem you are facing.
  6. Always keep your social media account private and don't accept the friend request of an anonymous person.
  7. Never share or post Private pictures or Videos on any social media platform.
