CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES
CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES TREND:
Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are continuously emerging as the leading cause of death around the world. CVD has emerged as a dominant cause of global disability as a result of the biological shift in the 20th century. According to worldwide health predictions, it will continue to be the leading cause of death in 2030. There are two types of CVD risk factors: traditional or classical and new. In low-income nations like Pakistan, these risk factors still play a major effect. The impact of a single risk factor on CVD varies widely, but the presence of multiple risk factors acts collectively and influences the CVD outcome. The majority of risk assessment methodologies currently in use are based on research conducted in rich nations; however, no strategy for low and middle-income people has yet been created. The Asia continent has been shown to have a larger CVD burden than western populations, with the economically disadvantaged citizens in the South Asian region bearing the majority of this load.
Pakistan is one of these underdeveloped regions that are just as affected by the CVD pandemic as the rest of the world, yet there is relatively little detailed data on the issue.
